Somerville Fitness Training: Conditioning Circuits

Somerville Fitness Training & Conditioning

Conditioning doesn’t have to be all about cardio, bikes and the dreaded elliptical. Your week should consist of 3 days of full body strength training using heavy and challenging weights. (obviously make sure your form is spot-on).

In addition to those three days you want to hit up some conditioning but you don’t want to be bored out of your mind. This is where a few fun training toys come in.

I wanted to show you a quick video of my early morning 6am training group hitting up a conditioning circuit. They are rocking some sledgehammer strikes on the tire, heavy ball slams, Kettlebell 1-Arm Clean & Press and heavy Kettlebell Swings.

All of these exercises have major benefits and here are just a few of them:

  • great for bulletproofing your core
  • increases upper body and rotational core strength
  • improves conditioning and stamina
  • Develops lower body power and strength

Check out this video of my bad-ass training clients hitting up a session at 6am in our new training center in Somerville….
