Somerville Personal Training “Bear” Complex

Today I wanted to hook you up with a video of one of the most popular, and brutal, barbell complexes.

The Bear Complex is meant to be a quick hitter, tough and brutal using a pretty high load on the bar.

Here are the exercises:

Power Clean
Front Squat
Push Press
Back Squat
Push Press

Check out this video and give this workout a try. Hit 5 reps of each exercise with as much weight as you can handle with perfect form (at least 65 pounds for women and at least 85 for men). Rest 2 minutes between rounds and complete 5-6 rounds.
