Congratulations to our Client of the Month in Manchester: Jessica Martino!

  1. What is your hometown? I was born in Massachusetts but have lived in Londonderry NH since I was 7.

  2. What brought you to DPT? I had been googling gyms, personal trainers, cross fit, etc. A facebook suggested post kept popping up for DPT. Regular gyms never worked for me. I never knew how to use the equipment and had NO accountability to go and stick with it.  So I figured I’d give DPT a try.

  3. How long have you been training with us? June will mark my 1 year anniversary.

  4. What do you do in the “real world?” (job, family, pets, etc) I’m the Evening Store Manager at Shaws in Merrimack NH. I’m getting married this September in Punta Cana, and after 4 years of begging my fiance, we finally got a dog 6 months ago.

  5. What is one fun fact that most people don’t know about you? I have an obsession with the food network channel.

  6. What is your favorite exercise and why? I love doing anything with weights, you can really feel and see the progression with them. I also don’t hate sleds as much as I used to 😁

  7. What is your biggest gym achievement so far? Getting to 29% body fat and dead lifting 205lbs. Iam also extremely proud I’ve continued to come for this long and have officially made it apart of my lifestyle.

  8. What inspires and motivates you? The other DPT members inspire me. Its amazing to watch and see their journey/results as well as my own. Everyone’s confidence in me and my capabilities is inspiring.  The coaches are always pushing me, knowing I can do more and when I finally do, that’s more motivation to keep pushing.

  9. What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining or who has just joined DPT? For anyone who just started: just keep going! Showing up is the hardest part in the beginning.  Do NOT be afraid to go at your own pace. Anyone thinking of joining: You will not regret it! I was always afraid to try something like DPT for fear of not being able to do the exercises, or being judged, or I had to be at a certain fitness level before I started, etc. NONE of those things are true at DPT. It’s an established family where we encourage new members and the coaches show you everything and meet you at your fitness level. If I can do it and succeed, anyone can!
