Congratulations to our Client of the Month in Somerville: Gabe Corbellini!

1 – What is your hometown?
I was born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Than we moved to Milan Italy, for just 3 years of an expiring abroad.
The destiny moved us to US in 2006, and 12 years later we now call Somerville our hometown.
2 – What brought you to DPT?
Improve my rowing speed, I was really fat, and an activity that Laura and I can do together.
3 -How long have you been training with us?
Looooonnnngggg!!! LOL
In 05/17/2013 I had my 1st interaction with Callie via e-mail where the subject was: Get lean and improve my rowing speed. After that everything else is history!!!
4 – What do you do in the “real world?” (job, family, pets, etc)
I am an Operation Manager at a Dental Implant company, Mechanical Engineer,  married to Laura Dueñas, and we are cat parents (Luna & Biscocho).
5 – What is one fun fact that most people don’t know about you?
WOW …. I can’t tell. I am going to be arrested.
6 – What is your favorite exercise and why?
I am always trying to convince myself that I love pushups. I drive to the gym saying loudly to myself: “I love pushups, I LOOOOVE pushups, ….” Joking aside I love lower body stuff, legs , legs, and more legs.
8 – What is your biggest gym achievement so far?
Getting down to 203 pounds!!! I have to peruse this weight again! We have a wedding to go in Brazil next December and I need to fit back to my slim suits.
9 – What inspires and motivates you?
Any challenge inspires me. A non challenging day is boring day!!! I need a goal to move me. I am always looking for something to do or achieve in the future to keep moving. A GOAL motivates me.
10 – What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining or who has just joined DPT?
Read the massage at the gym door, come to the gym, the team and coaches will get you moving and motivated. The DPT is really a very cool and united family. Great people, moving together having the same goals: Life quality, loose weight, keep moving, and having fun doing pushups or any thing else you think you can’t do…. By the way, this two words: can’t do,  use to make us do a lot of burpees. Callie and Emily are not the same anymore. LOL
