Congratulations to our Client of the Month in Manchester: Heidi Lemieux!

1)What is your hometown?
Georgia, VT
2)What brought you to DPT?
Kristina Graydon! I moved to Manchester in June last year and was looking for a gym that would be a good fit for me and Kristina and Monica Mayott introduced me to you guys!
3)How long have you been training with us?
Just hit my one year anniversary!
4)What do you do in the “real world?” (job, family, pets, etc)
I’m an environmental engineer that works at a consulting firm in Concord. I also am the President of the New Hampshire Professionals Chapter is Engineers without Borders (my biggest passion) where we are partnered with nine communities in Uganda to bring them access to clean drinking water. I also have a love for travel, my hubby, and my two cats 🙂
5)What is one fun fact that most people don’t know about you?
I have a crazy love for dill pickles and pickle everything.
6)What is your favorite exercise and why?
I actually love when we do bench press, because A) that area needs some work haha and B) that exercise requires a spotter so I usually see so much teamwork and support when we do it. It’s very motivating.
7)What is your biggest gym achievement so far?
Completing the Murph last summer!
8)What inspires and motivates you?
The coaches and my 6:30 crew! I’ve never felt so comfortable with a group of people I work out with. Everyone has each other’s backs and is always cheering each other’s successes. Emily, Erin, and Justine are always pushing us to do better and you’re there to help us find a better version of ourselves. Just knowing how much you care about us and invest in our lives means the world to me and motivates me to do my best. I am so grateful for DPT.
9)What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining or who has just joined DPT?
DO IT!! I know starting anything for the first time can be scary, but DPT is a family that contains the most welcoming individuals I have ever met. They will encourage you when you struggle, celebrate with you when you succeed, and just all around make it a fun place to be! Eventually you may even find yourself missing it when you’re on vacation 😉
