Simple At-Home Workout in 30 Minutes or Less

Hey hey, welcome back to Day #19 of the Cambridge personal fitness training fat loss challenge. Yesterday I spoke about 100% compliance to a fitness and fat loss program. It’s a must read so if you missed it, check it out here….

Today’s post is going to be really simple for you….well, simple but not easy 🙂

This is a great at home workout session that you can do in 30 minutes or less. You’ll need two pieces of equipment for this and you can go do any sporting goods store or even Target and get them. You’ll want to purchase a jump rope and a kettlebell (I recommend 20-30 pounds for women and 30-40 pounds for men who are starting out)

You’ll need a bit of clearance on your ceiling and I don’t recommend this if you live on the 3rd floor like I do, the neighbors don’t like the jumping….but anyway, something really simple for you to train at home in less time.

You’ll want to perform your foam rolling and dynamic warm up series like I described in the previous posts….

Then you can jump right into your workout….

Perform 1 minute of jump rope

Perform 20 kettlebell swings

Rest for 60-90 seconds depending on your fitness level

Perform this circuit 5-8 times, again depending on your fitness

Eventually you can increase to 10 rounds

Here’s a cool video demonstrating the kettlebell swings….
