What is your hometown?Medford, MA
What brought you to DPT? I was getting tired of trying to get in shape and having whatever fad or diet I was following only work for a month or two.
How long have you been training with us? I have been with DPT for 6 months now.
What do you do in the “real world?”(job, family, pets, etc) In the real world I am a Supervisor for TSA and also a full time single Mommy to two girls.
What is one fun fact that most people don’t know about you? Most people don’t know that I can write upside down and backwards in cursive.
What is your favorite exercise and why? My favorite exercise is the one everyone seems to hate – – Sleds. I like them because I have a lot of leg power, and pushing that (especially on the lower end) makes me feel strong.
What is your biggest gym achievement so far? My biggest achievement is actually sticking with working out, and then deciding to join Nutrition 1.0. Before I would make it a couple months in to trying some type of exercise/diet program, and I would give up. But the support from the DPT family has made me hold myself accountable, and also made me realize that I can make these changes in my lifestyle and I don’t have to feel deprived to do it.
What inspires and motivates you? Being healthy and setting a good example for my girls to be proud of themselves motivates me. I didn’t have that growing up and I want to make sure they never have to be ashamed of themselves.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining or who has just joined DPT? This is hands down the best decision that you’ll ever make for yourself. DPT is not just a gym…We are a family, and everyone wants everyone to succeed and we will do anything to help you achieve that!
