Cambridge Personal Trainer’s Sunday Fun-Day

A Sunday training post by Cambridge personal trainer Callie Durbrow

Hey what’s up, it’s Sunday afternoon and I just got back from a nice relaxing morning. I went over to my gym for an intense metabolic training session and then followed that up with a trip to my friend’s pool. It was a beautiful day so it was perfect to lay out and get some sun plus catch up on some marketing stuff that I had loaded on my iPod.

If you wanna follow along with me on my day then check out this video….

I was inspired by some of the business and lifestyle stuff that I was catching up on and there was one audio that I was listening to, talking about how if things in your life are not exactly how you want them, you need to do anything and everything to fix that. Create your life based around your values and while you envision the perfect version of yourself.

When it comes to working out, training and getting into shape, here are a few things that you can do NOW to improve your results. Take these action steps this week…

1. Commit to increasing the intensity and energy of your workouts. If you are taking the time to get into the gym and train, those workouts better be good. Focus on quality not quantity.

2. Up your water intake this week. If your body is even 1-2% dehydrated, it slows down your fat loss progress. Commit to adding 15-20 ounces of water to your daily intake. Before you know it, you’ll be drinking 1/2 of your body weight (pounds) in ounces of water each day. This is the ideal amount.

3. Stop yourself if you start to make an excuse about working out. Just shut off the negative talk and tell yourself “I will get my workout done.” Once you get there, up your intensity and you’ve already won 1/2 the battle.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have an AMAZING and dominant week!
