Cambridge Personal Training Kettlebell Bottom-Up Press

 

Hey, Cambridge personal training expert Callie Durbrow here.

Kettlebells are one of the best tools for fast fat loss, building a toned and lean body, and improving cardiovascular conditioning.

If you are typically training with weights or just doing traditional cardio, it might be time to ramp it up.

In our training studio we use some type of kettlebell training every day.

Some great examples of kettlebell conditioning and training include:

Swings
Squat Variations
Press Variations
Clean & Press
Turkish Get-Ups
Snatch
Jumps
Windmills

Here’s a cool video with a Kettlebell Press variation. Holding the bell in the “bottom’s up” position forces your core to work harder to stabilize and it also challenges the smaller muscles in the shoulder and upper back.
