How many days out of the week do you feel like total crap?
You know what I mean….you need 2-3 cups of coffee, a Red Bull and then a sugar craving creeps up on you around 3pm.
That latte and pastry thingy from Starbucks every other day doesn’t do much for the waistline, my friend.
But you know that already.
So what’s the deal? How do you stop feeling like crap?
You know you need to probably eat better, so you can work on that. That’s another email for another day.
Today it’s a little different.
There is one thing you can do that will literally make you feel less like crap in just 2 days.
Sleep is like the ugly duckling of weight loss.
No one really cares about it and they don’t talk about it because it’s not sexy.
Eat this, do this workout, take this supplement, drink this shake….
All that is total crap if you don’t have the proper sleep foundation.
I know what you’re going to say…
“I don’t have time”
“I have kids”
“I have too much work to do”
I get it.
I’m not here to preach to you, I just want you to feel better and I’m sick of seeing people feel like crap when they don’t need to and the solution is so simple.
If you happen to have a small child at home that wakes up at night, well, you can’t do much about that just yet 🙂
BUT if you stay up consistently past 11pm doing mindless crap like watching TV, cruising Facebook and stressing out, then you DO have a choice.
My biggest tip with this is to turn off all your electronics about 30 minutes before you want to get to sleep. That means the phone, iPad, TV and anything that radiates that “I need to be awake” kind of light.
Commit to getting 8 hours of sleep each night. Trust me, you will feel like a new person.
Less crappy feeling = better workouts, more energy, better weight loss
8 hours. You can do it 🙂
