A bad-ass honey badger post by Cambridge personal trainer Callie Durbrow
Hey, what’s up? Happy Friday to you….I just finished up a killer training session at my gym, it was an outdoor workout which I love and we did a heavy Prowler Push (155 pounds for me) down and back, then followed that up by 50 reps on the Battle Ropes, then did 5 Kettlebell Clean and Press (each arm), 5 Kettlebell Snatch (each arm) and 15 Kettlebell Swings. We did 4 rounds of this and I was smoked.
You know that great feeling that you get after a training session that you know you just kicked it’s ass? That’s how today was for me. This was really good because I had kind of a crappy week in terms of workouts. Yep, it happens to trainers too.
Sometimes all you need is a little push from someone else or just a great session to push you over the edge to feeling great again.
So have you seen the Honey Badger video on Youtube? It’s all over the place these days and it’s pretty entertaining but ironically enough, I took a pretty good lesson from this crazy honey badger.
