Here are three tips to get your workouts done when you’re not feeling motivated.
Let’s face it. Working out IS uncomfortable. But the key that I see for the people who are the most successful is that they are able to stop being “now” focused.
Maybe they don’t want to work out. But they know how they’ll feel AFTER.
They know how exercise and healthy behaviors will contribute to a better quality of life.
A longer life, potentially.
Essentially, they are putting themselves in control of what they CAN control.
That’s what I focus on and I challenge my clients to do. Here are three mindset shifts –
✔️I will feel so much BETTER after this workout.
✔️This behavior of consistent weekly exercise will contribute to a healthier life.
✔️When I take care of myself, I can be present, capable and AROUND for my kids.
And most of the time, we won’t be motivated to work out. Myself included.
That’s why it’s important to build habits, so you’re not relying on how you feel, you lean into the structure.
