What brought you to DPT? I was looking to get healthier and start strength training, but had no idea what to do. I found reviews of DPT that talked about the small classes and supportive environment, and figured I’d give it a try. And ended up loving it!
How long have you been training with us? Almost 3 years
What do you do in the “real world?” (job, family, pets, etc) I work in IT management for a university.
What is your biggest gym achievement so far? Getting up consistently for 7am classes. That and 20-inch box jumps, small as that might seem. My brain used to just short circuit the second it looked at a box higher than 12 inches and my legs wouldn’t move, so landing my first jump on higher boxes felt like I’d conquered the world.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining or who has just joined DPT? Do it!! It’s the best thing I’ve done for myself. The environment is the right combination of supportive and challenging and it’s a great way to start (or finish) the day.
