How to Incorporate a Cheat Meal and Lose Fat Fast

 

Hey….Callie Durbrow here with a quick tip for you. How many times have you tried to go on a “diet” and restrict all of your bad food intake? You go really well for a week, maybe two and then all of a sudden you just fall off the wagon and totally binge. You know what I’m talking about…..all that stuff you were craving during that “diet” finally makes it’s way into your living room while you mindlessly gorge away while watching some prime time TV.

 

Here’s the first rule….don’t go on a “diet.” Instead, correct your nutrition plan and make it something you can do for a long period of time….like a lifetime 🙂


Sure you’ll cheat here and there, but the trick is to systematize your cheating. Here’s what I do. I eat super clean through the week and stack my days with lots of lean protein, veggies, fruit, nuts and healthy fats. I mix some whole grains in once and a while but I get the majority of my carbohydrates from fruit and veggies.

Then, on Saturdays I let myself eat whatever the hell I want. This does two things:

1. It keeps me on track mentally, knowing that on Saturday I can eat pizza or ice cream or Reese’s PB cups

2. The cheat day actually helps to improve fat loss. See, when you restrict your food intake for too long, you lower the leptin levels in your body (in simple terms it’s a hormone that helps to regulate your metabolism). People who habitually overeat have very high levels of leptin which can lead to fat storage, but in the case of a cheat meal the leptin levels are elevated and actually speed up your metabolism. Be sure to go right back to clean eating after this though 🙂

The thing is that you must be systematic. Don’t eat a bunch of junk and stay off the wagon. Jump right back on and keep kicking butt with your fat loss!

Using this method I lost 6 pounds of PURE FAT in just a month.
